freelancingcourse.in was born inside a small office in Barrackpore — not a corporate boardroom. Every module we teach is something we've actually used to earn a living.
A small idea, a real problem.
For years, we watched young people in Kolkata pay big institutes ₹40,000–₹80,000 for courses that left them with certificates but no real skills. They learned to talk about marketing — not to do it.
We started teaching evenings and weekends out of a borrowed room in Barrackpore in 2022. Just a few students, a few projects, and a simple promise — by the end, you'll have built something real.
Four years later, hundreds of students from across North 24 Parganas, Kolkata and the rest of India have come through our doors and our online batches. The promise hasn't changed.
Practical first.
Always.
If a topic doesn't help you earn, we don't teach it. If a tool isn't used by actual freelancers today, it doesn't make it into the curriculum.
We update our syllabus every quarter — because the AI tool that's hot today wasn't around six months ago, and we won't waste your time teaching something that's already obsolete.
And we never stop. The course ends in three months, but you stay in our community forever. That's where the real long-term value lives.

Build, don't memorise
Every class ends with you having built something — a page, a campaign, an audit, a workflow. Theory is the side dish.
Honesty over hype
We don't promise lakhs in a month. We promise skills, mentorship and a real shot at building a freelancing income.
Small batches, deep attention
We cap every batch so each student gets time with mentors. Better outcomes always beat bigger numbers.

The offline batches run from our Barrackpore centre, easily reachable from Sodepur, Khardah, Belghoria, Agarpara, Madhyamgram, Barasat and the rest of North 24 Parganas.

Our offline classroom programmes are kept intentionally small — usually 12 to 18 students per batch — so every learner gets one-on-one feedback. Both morning and evening slots are available.
For students who can't make it to Barrackpore, our online batches deliver the exact same curriculum, taught live by the same mentors, with a parallel project track and the same certificate at the end.
